means thinking about your marcomms as a whole, rather than as separate broadcast,
print, and web. True IMC is about using
each media in the way best suited to it. I've developed IMC for several
sizeable marketers.
IBM. In several years
at the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather I developed marcomms for IBM's
global brand and various business units in Southeast Asia and Western Europe.
These campaigns and interactive spots were written in Singapore and Paris.
Equant. The IP spinoff
from France Telecom built a strong brand in a hard market; I wrote eight
campaigns and collateral over a two-year timeframe.
Argos.
The British catalogue retailer is a smart marketer and a joy to work with.
Spanning two years, its web-based Buyer's Guides and brochures guided several
million pageviews a month towards purchases. I researched and wrote them
for 8 business units.
